Be still…

Psalms 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

and in Exodus 14:14 it says to, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Sometimes this life’s problems are being thrown all around me, and all I want to do is try to handle these problems on my own.  Yesterday, I turned in our notice letter that we, as a family will not be renewing our lease.  Well let me rewind a bit. We moved into the apartment that we are in using the judgment of  pictures on the internet. The management before the management that has taken over, said that we would have two swimming pools, fitness center, a clubhouse with a movie theater and a billards room. Man we were mistaken. The two swimming pools are here on the grounds, but one of them was broken and the other one was closed most of the summer last year. The other amenities were at the sister property located about 2 miles from here. We didn’t find this out until we signed our lease.  So back before March, I had been trying to find another place on my own, no direction from the Father above.  Here recently just realize that I just need to be content in the place that I am now. Yeah it may not be the perfect place but we signed a lease so should be content.  So here we are today, I now know, that in all things we should be content. We should just be still and know that God is working for us. In His time, He will have the right place for us.

We go through life struggling, when we all reality there should be no struggle.  When we be still and be content in the place we are now, turn it all over to the LORD; He will fight for us.

So we have 2 months left here in this apartment, We will let God show me and Jeremy where we need to be.

Not my will but God’s will be done.

what to anticipate…

when we begin to focus on the good and anticipate it, the outlook of our lives change.
Anticipations are good.

When you begin to turn your focus on the negative, guess what, your outlook on life will become negative.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Phil. 4:8

So keep your focus on what is true, what is noble, what is right, what is pure,what is lovely, what is admirable. Keep thinking these and stay positive. Your world will be brighter!

Well Good Friday!

I can’t change how my family acts or keeps doing the same crap over and over. But they don’t know how it affects the people the love or the people that love them. How do you handle such a thing? How do you let them know that what they do or what they did still affects you? I love them so much! I can hate the way their ways. But you know, they are still apart of me. Even if I try to deny it. For as long as I am alive on this earth they will be apart of me. Just don’t understand!!!
